Josephat Kilai Kioko traveled to the small town of Kilifi near Mombasa in Kenya to see how girls playing football are making a huge change in their communities. The more than 3000 female football players are challenging sterotypes and empowering themselves. The report, first broadcast on Baraka FM Radio, was an entry to the 2013 German Development Media awards.
