Germany and the United States are stepping up cooperation in anti terrorism operations. Officials from the two countries signed an agreement here in Berlin on Tuesday that will give their security services access to each other's confidential databases on potential suspects. The data include records on DNA and fingerprints, raising worries among some here in Germany that privacy rights could be violated.
