It's not so easy to find a green haven in New York - let alone one where you can grow your own food. But a small army of volunteers has done just that - on a church rooftop. It's an urban refuge reconnecting city dwellers with nature in Manhattan’s west-side neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen.
