Borussia Dortmund will face Wolfsberger AC of Austria in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

BVB will play away on July 30 and at home, at the Signal Iduna Park, on August 6.

Confirmation of Dortmund's opponent came on Thursday evening, as Shakhtyor and Wolfsberger played the second leg of their second qualifying round tie. Wolfsberger sealed a 3-0 aggregate win with a 2-0 win at home against their Belarusian opponents.

This season is Wolfsberger's first venture into European competition in the club's history. The club's players were visibly excited having confirmed their place in the tie against the Bundesliga giants.

Wolfsberger AC finished last season fifth in the ten-team Austrian Bundesliga and qualified for the Europa League after Austria Wien and Salzburg played out the Austrian Cup Final. The tie against Wolfsberger would be played at the Wörthersee Stadion, in front of 32,000.
