Thousands of people gathered in Trafalgar Square to pay their respects to the victims of the attack outside the British Parliament. Officials have identified the attacker as British-born Khalid Masood.
London police have arrested a man on suspicion of terrorism after he ploughed through pedestrians and cyclists in central London. The man eventually smashed his car into barriers outside the parliament building.
British media have named the man behind Tuesday's suspected terror attack outside the Houses of Parliament. Police have said they are still investigating the suspect's motives.
The man who drove into people near Parliament in London is facing charges of attempted murder of a police officer and attempted murder of members of the public. He has not, however, been brought up on terror charges.
