Talking about periods and menstrual hygiene is still considered a taboo in many societies and it's something that Fayruz Adan is trying to change. After studying and starting a career in health care provision in the UK, Adan returned to Kenya to raise awareness and provide better access to sanitary products for women and girls who can't afford them.
