Yahoo pays $1.1 billion for Tumblr

Internet giant Yahoo has acquired blogging network tumblr in a $1.1 billion dollar deal designed to drastically expand Yahoo's Internet traffic. Tumbler hosts over 100-million blogs and attracts more than 300-million unique visitors per month.
