The Saxophone – Instrument of the Year 2019

The German Music Council has voted for the Saxophone to be “Instrument of the Year 2019“. The woodwind instrument was invented by Belgian Adolphe Sax in 1840. His birthplace, Dinant, has a Saxophone Museum.
