Testing photo editing apps: "Prisma”

If you want to take pictures with your smartphone and quickly share beautiful photos, you need effective tools for image editing. DW Digital is testing the most popular apps. This week: "Prisma".

A free version of "Prisma" is available for Android and iOS. The app allows you to edit your photos using the style of well-known artists such as Post-Impressionist Van Gogh, abstract painter  Piet Mondrian or Pop-Artist Andy Warhol, Works can be shared with other useres on the Prisma platform. The app is  a lot of fun, but in the long run, the charm wears off. More filters and options are available when you subscribe for € 15.99 per year. But spending this money is not really worth it from our point view.

- Some effects are stunning

- Own platform for Prisma users

 

Top 3 Cons: 

- Free version lacks many of the filter options

- Full Version rather expensive

- Fun factor wears off In the long run
