Gender-based violence in South Africa is increasing at an alarming rate, making it one of the most unsafe places in the world for women. Frustrated by the grim statistics, a group of teenagers in Port Elizabeth are using social media to express their outrage, mobilize their peers and speak out against the scourge of femicide.

Her talent has already taken her from her home in Mombasa to Uganda, India and the US where she has won several awards and even met world leaders.
