Soldiers as Disaster Relief Volunteers

For years, Markus Klee was a solider in the Bundeswehr. Today he works as a financial adviser. In his free time the reservist undergoes disaster relief training. Since conscription was abolished in 2011, Germany has fewer soldiers than it used to. Now reservists are to provide assistance in dealing with floods and fires.
