Shift-Interview Salman Kahn, "Kahn Academy"

It all started with the fact that the former hedge fund manager Salman Khan gave his younger cousin private lessons in mathematics - via telephone and internet. When he supported half a dozen family members after a short time with his lessons, he began to produce videos. In 2008 he founded in Mountain View, California the nonprofit Khan Academy with one goal: to provide all people in the world free access to education. The online video tutorials focus on various topics, including math, science, economics, finance, history, art in over 20 languages.
