The Environmental High School in Sde Boker is in the middle of the Negev desert in Israel. The vision behind the boarding school comes from Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion's: he saw the desert as a place to be studied and discovered. Today, students at the school have direct contact with the nature that surrounds them - so they can learn to cherish and take care of it.
