Pope Benedict's first visit to the United States - je 16.04.2008 8

Pope Benedict is spending today, his 81st birthday, in Washington, and he is scheduled to speak with US President George Bush. And he'll also address a meeting of U.S. bishops, where he's expected to say more about the sexual abuse scandal that has caused much anguish among American Catholics. On his way to the US, the Pope said that sexual abuse of children by priests has left him deeply ashamed.
