Israeli Oren Dror offers classic pretzels — and those with a chocolate coating — at the BrezelBar in Kreuzberg.
Pretzels Berlin style
Oren Dror came from Tel Aviv to Berlin quite accidentally in his early 20s. To earn money, he followed a call: To sell pretzels as a street vendor at busy city squares. From these humble beginnings he developed his business idea and opened the BrezelBar along with a catering service that employs 22 people.
For all tastes
The pretzels are produced in-house and are available in classic or unusual versions, for example with chocolate coating. They are also the essential ingredient in a pretzel dumpling soup.
Home comforts
At the BrezelBar, guests in the reading lounge can enjoy a wide range of newspapers and magazines while slouching on chesterfield sofas. There are also places to work, with free Wi-Fi and power outlets for charging. It’s a home away from home.
More than pretzels
BrezelBar also offers comprehensive breakfast options, from fresh fruit salads to cereals and savory breakfast plates. And at lunchtime there are two hot dishes to choose from. Ingredients are purchased regularly in small quantities to ensure the best freshness and quality.
