The Rosetta spacecraft released the robot probe Philae on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Instead of anchoring itself on touchdown, the probe initially bounced a couple of times before settling in an awkward position.
On April 3rd, a Russian Soyuz rocket will take off from the European Space Agency launch pad in French Guyana carrying Sentinel 1, the first in a series of next-generation observation satellites.
