Miguel has been producing documentaries, features, and digital content for DW since 2018, mainly on travel, sports, and mobility, telling stories meant to inspire audiences and drive change.
Miguel's work focuses on inclusion, disability, social cohesion, and integration, combining field reporting with visually driven storytelling. His projects explore how global challenges affect everyday lives, often highlighting solutions, resilience and social impact.
Miguel has spent more than 15 years in which he has travelled to more than 80 countries producing socially impactful films. Five of his films have won awards at international film festivals. He is based in Berlin, where he also lectures at a film school.
