Moroccan human rights activists have warned of an assault on freedom of expression, following the arrest of 15 journalists, bloggers, rappers and social media users over recent months. Just in December, six people were convicted; including a high school student for sharing a song on social media. The rapper of that song — Gnawi (pictured) — was himself sentenced to jail back in November.
