Kenyan activist tries to stop female genital mutiliation

Kenyan Monica Kaguithia stands up against a tradition that's deeply entrenched in her society: female genital mutilation. Women in many African communities are still forced to undergo the painful, dangerous and often even fatal procedure. Supported by the International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs in the Indian state of Kerala, she campaigns against this cruel tradition.
