Jules Verne: unmanned rocket put an automatic cargo vessel into orbit - je 09.03.2008

Torsten JostMarch 9, 2008

As the man who wrote about space travel before it even existed, Jules Verne would´ve been a proud man today. The 19th-century French writer´s name is splashed right across Europe´s latest space mission: earlier today, an unmanned rocket put an automatic cargo vessel into orbit, which will bring supplies to the International Space Station. The Jules Verne ... which is travelling around the world in a much shorter time than 80 days ... will be docking with the ISS next month.
