The booksellers who have plied their trade for centuries alongside the River Seine in Paris are bidding for special recognition by the United Nations’ top cultural agency, hoping it will help boost their reputation…and their income. But competition is fierce — and as Lisa Bryant reports from the French capital, some 'bouquinistes' are against the bid.
