Inside Europe: Latvia's harrowing past comes to life

For the first time, a Latvian film has been produced showing the mass deportation of its people to Siberia during Soviet times. It's called "The Chronicles of Melanie" and has just opened in cinemas. It depicts one of of the darkest and most painful periods in the country's history, just after the Soviet Union annexed it at the beginning of the Second World War. From Riga Ģederts Ģelzis reports.
