Klaus Bergmann (born 1954) is the head of International Relations at Deutsche Welle.
In addition to his position as head of International Relations since 2012, Bergmann was in charge of DW's EU representative office in Brussels from 2009 - 2017. After studying law at Münster University, he first worked as a lawyer and then as a human resources officer for the American international broadcaster Radio Free Europe in Munich. In 1991, he became head of the Human Resources Department for DW in Cologne and two years later took charge of administration at DW's production facilities in Berlin.
Bergmann is chairman of the International Broadcasting Assembly (IBA) of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB).
