Almost 80,000 people have died from COVID-19 in Germany so far. But who were they? DW spoke to two men who lost their mothers to the virus. Both are certain of one thing: Renate Jacobs and Helga Kokott would still be enjoying their twilight years today if it weren't for the coronavirus.
