German Pop - The Intersphere

They sound as if they were old-time Pink Floyd meeting up for drinks with The Police and coming up with the idea of recording a Muse album with a lot of echo. But they're The Intersphere and come from Mannheim.

Band members Christoph, Sebastian, Thomas, and Moritz say they "draw on 40 years of rock history" to make their own groove.

Actually, some time ago, Christoph was merely looking for musicians who would help him record his own compositions during a few jam sessions. But together, the four members realized they could do a lot more - with their second album, "Interspheres-Atmospheres," now being released in the United States.

The group participated in the 2008 edition of "PopCamp," an educational seminar for up-and-coming pop music stars in Germany who want to learn everything about the business - from singing and performance techniques to contracts and copyrights.
