France to impose curfew in nine major cities

October 15, 2020

France has reimposed a public health state of emergency nationwide. President Emmanuel Macron said the health system is reaching its limits, and announced a curfew in Paris and EIGHT other cities. From Saturday, people won't be allowed leave their homes between 9pm and 6am - except for essential reasons. A third of France's intensive care beds are currently occupied by COVID patients.
