Each year a German consumer magazine asks its readers to vote for their favorite "Sensible Cars". The winners are those vehicles that offer the best combination of affordability, safety and fuel efficiency. This year's victors are: the VW Golf in the compact category; the Skoda Rapid in the sedan category, and the new Opel Mokka in the station wagon/MPV category.
