The fastest supercomputer in Europe has officially begun operating in western Germany as Europe looks to catch up to the US and China in the race for AI. High performance computing expert Steve Conway tells DW that Europe has made impressive progress in recent years and now has five of the world’s fastest ten supercomputers.
