British violinist Nigel Kennedy is one of the great mavericks of the classical music scene, and over the years he has certainly played a part in making classical music popular with the younger generation. He's always been interested in many different styles of music and recently he's been investigating them. Two years ago he released a jazz album on Blue Note Records and now a new CD that perhaps crosses even more borders. It has the rather tongue in cheek title of "A very nice album"
