Economic inequality persists between black and white Americans

It's 50 years since the assassination of American civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. He was killed because he protested against the lack of economic opportunities for black people. Even half a century after his death, many studies show that Black Americans still have fewer opportunities than White Americans.
