COVID-19 hits Africa's tourism in the aftermath of Ebola

As COVID-19 deforms the global economy, tourism has been one of the worst-hit sectors, especially in Africa. The continent was just recovering from the aftermath of the deadly Ebola virus, but the pandemic is reversing earlier gains. In many places, hotels are laying off workers while travel agencies are closing.
