Belarus's exiled opposition leader, Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has called on the UN to investigate human rights violations, following the country's disputed elections. Addressing the UN Security council by video-link, she urged the international community to impose sanctions on the people she believes responsible for electoral violations and what she called 'crimes against humanity'.
