An American economist considered a pioneer in understand economic decision-making has won the esteemed award.
The 2018 prize has been awarded to the US's William D. Nordhaus and Paul M. Romer for including climate change and technological innovation in longterm economic theory and furthering research on sustainable growth.
Three researchers who paved the way for advanced precision laser instruments have been awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics. They trio will split the award of 9 million Swedish kronor (€866,000, $1 million).
