World in Progress: Tokyo's Tower Mansions

On average, apartments in Tokyo are very small. 40 percent of the city's citizens actually live alone, and they dont need much space. But there are also young couples and families who can't afford a house in the city. That's why a new type of living has gained traction: "Tower Mansion" – namely, luxuriously equipped apartments in skyscrapers.
