The world's largest travel portal, TripAdvisor, has completed its long-announced transformation into a social travel network. At its launch on November 13, however, there was still no final version.
A man who killed 11 people in a synagogue was a frequent user of the social media site Gab, which he used to post anti-Semitic messages. Companies such as PayPal have begun banning the site from using their services.
Google has announced it will be winding down its little-used Plus social network. The tech giant has also admitted that a bug in its social network may have exposed the personal data of some 500,000 users.
