Some 12 million Germans do volunteer work every day. Without them, many organizations would not be able to function, or even exist. Volunteers help is sports clubs, in hospitals, prisons and churches. 34-year-old Britta Wördenweber is one of them. She works with a children's group in Wiesbaden.
