Israeli and Palestinian negotiators have neared an agreement on on an agenda ahead of a new drive by US President George Bush to restart talks on creating a Palestinian state. Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert arrived at the White House for talks earlier today. Bush is scheduled to meet with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas in a few hours time. Expectations are low, however, for the conference - which starts tomorrow in Washington and nearby Annapolis.
