North Korea threatens to expand its nuclear weapons programme

North Korea says it will use its plutonium stocks to make weapons, and threatened military action against the United States and its allies after the UN approved new sanctions to punish the Pyongyang for its recent nuclear test. The sanctions ban all weapons exports from North Korea and most arms imports into the country. They also authorize ship searches on the high seas.
