Sicilian shoppers can now avoid the Mob by going to Palermo's first "racket-free supermarket". It sells goods from 30 different local businesses that are refusing to pay protection money or 'pizzo'. Those involved hope their opposition to organised crime and extortion will spread to the rest of Italy. A report by Margit Ehrlich
