House of History in Bonn is dedicated to teaching visitors about the modern history of both Germanys

In 1994, the foundation "Haus der Geschichte" or House of History opened in Bonn, which had been the capital of the Federal Republic until reunification. The foundation is dedicated to teaching visitors about the modern history of BOTH Germanys from 1945 onwards. It's a hands-on museum, which attempts to make important historical events more accessible - especially to younger generations. Our reporter Karola Olbertz went to have a look around.
