Kit Armstrong started talking at just nine months, playing piano at age five and composing soon after. Now, he's an internationally famous pianist and plays in concert halls around the world.
Markus Hinterhäuser made the festival possible in the pandemic, but would find another such season difficult to imagine. He told DW why it was all still worth it.
Described as a ray of light in a politically and socially torn country, the George Enescu Festival is also giving its first-ever guest performance in Berlin this season.
