European Journal Special: Europe Catches the Sports Bug

The role of exercise has become increasingly important in Europe. More and more people play sports and want to stay fit, in part to ensure they live long healthy lives. This year two major sporting events are also contributing to the exercise bug: the Euro 2012 football championships in Poland and Ukraine, and the Olympic Games in London.
