EU promises legal action over UK extension of grace period
The EU has promised legal action after the British government unilaterally extended a grace period for checks on foods entering Northern Ireland from Britain. Northern Irish loyalist paramilitaries have since said they were withdrawing support for the Good Friday Agreement due to concerns over the Brexit deal.
