Endurance Exercise for the Heart

Endurance training helps strengthen a very important muscle - the heart. With regular cardiovascular exercise, even older people can stay as physically fit as a 30-year-old. Endurance exercise strengthens the cardiovascular system and helps keep us trim. If you go to the gym, working out on an elliptical trainer or a stationary bike is an excellent way to give your endurance a boost.
