Colombia has declared a national emergency after 430 acres of banana crop were infected with "Panama Disease."
Mexican authorities have rescued 65 migrants from South Asia who were found starving and severely dehydrated. Once their nationalities are identified and confirmed they will be sent back to their countries.
The disease caused by the chytrid fungus has also led to massive population declines in more than 500 amphibian species. Researchers say one piece of evidence sheds light on where it originated from.
The grocery chain has said that sausages being sold at stores near Hanover may contain the bacteria listeria. Aldi has also recently come under fire for its business practices regarding produce from South America.
