The presidents of the US and Russia emerged from their summit meeting today with upbeat messaging – and obvious differences. Joe Biden called the nearly four hours of talks good and positive, Vladimir Putin said they were fruitful with no hostility.

Diplomats from both sides will convene in Geneva on Wednesday, the same city where President Joe Biden met Russian President Vladimir Putin last month.
