A legendary photographer
After World War II, Capa lived in the US, where he co-founded the renowned photo agency Magnum with Henri Cartier-Bresson, George Rodger and David Seymour (Chim). He continued to work as a photojournalist, including during the First Indochina War (1946-54) in present-day Vietnam. There, on May 25, 1954, he was fatally injured by a landmine. He died at age 40, reportedly clinging to his camera.
