At least four people were killed and about 20 were injured in Germany overnight Sunday in accidents caused by icy road conditions, police said Sunday. Four other people in the car were seriously injured. In Minden, in the northwest, another 61-year-old man lost control of his car on an icy road and smashed into a tree killing the other passenger in the car. The man was seriously injured. A 78-year-old woman also died in the northern region of Dithmarschen as she was crossing an ice-covered road. Several accidents were also reported in other regions.
