Almost 150 people have been killed in a train accident in India. India has one of the largest, but oldest, train networks in the world.
At least 20 people have been killed in the Egyptian capital when a locomotive crashed into a steel barrier at the main train station, causing the engine's diesel tank to explode. The train's driver has been arrested.
Debris believed to be from a cargo train smashed into a passenger train traveling in the opposite direction towards Copenhagen during a severe storm. It has been described as Denmark's worst accident since 1988.
