June 7, 2010

"Highly melodic indie pop with anthem-like qualities“, „classy songs“ and „an inventive mix of genres“ – that’s how German critics describe the music of Adolar.

The four twenty somethings from the eastern German city of Magdeburg have been playing together since they were teenagers. In 2008, Adolar named themselves after an animated figure on Hungarian television. After a few minor releases, the band is now presenting its debut album. Their current tour takes Adolar through Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Switzerland, not to mention France and Britain. popXport was on location for the band’s opening concert in Magdeburg.
